On July 3, 2025, as part of his official visit, Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova Mihai Popșoi visited Almaty.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the Akim of Almaty, Darkhan Satybaldy.

The delegation also visited the UN Regional Centre for Sustainable Development Goals for Central Asia and Afghanistan.

In addition, the Moldovan delegation met with “IceMaster – Ice Cream” LLP, members of the Moldovan ethnocultural association “Struguraș” and representatives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

The visit will contribute to strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Moldova and developing interregional ties.
