A significant milestone was marked on the parade ground of Military Unit 5573 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as nearly 700 spring conscripts solemnly took the Military Oath.

The young soldiers, who arrived from all regions of the country and completed their basic training, officially became part of the unified formation — full-fledged defenders of the Motherland.

Over 2,000 people — parents, relatives, friends, and veterans — gathered on this memorable day to support and celebrate the new recruits. For most of the servicemen, this was their first truly adult step, taken with pride and honor.

Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Ansagan Baltabekov addressed the soldiers with words of encouragement:

“Today marks an important and unforgettable moment. From now on, you are a reliable shield of public order. Always remain disciplined, strong in spirit, and ready to defend the Homeland.

Great hopes rest upon you — from your commanders, your families, and the entire nation.

I am confident you will fulfill your service with dignity, forge strong bonds of brotherhood, and return home proud, strengthened, and devoted to your country.

Serve with pride! Let each day bring you closer to becoming a true defender of the Motherland!”

Private Arslan Makashev from Uralsk spoke on behalf of the new recruits:

“It is a great honor for us to serve in the heart of the country — the capital. We fully understand the responsibility entrusted to us by the Oath and are ready to carry out every assigned task with dignity. Through our service, we aim to contribute to the safety and well-being of our Homeland.”

The oath-taking ceremony marks an important step for the young soldiers, who will serve alongside law enforcement to maintain public order, ensure the safety of residents and guests in Astana, and participate in securing major political, cultural, and sports events in the capital.
