Ankara, July 8-9, 2025 —10^th meeting of the ministers in charge of tourism and the 20^th meeting of Working Group of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in Ankara. The event was attended by delegations from member states and observers of the OTS, as well as representatives of the Organization’s Secretariat.

During the sessions, the participants discussed the further development of cooperation in the tourism sector, including the promotion of ecotourism, the creation of joint tourist routes, the implementation of digital solutions, and the development of the OTS region as a single tourist space.

“The joint development of tourism among Turkic states opens broad opportunities for mutual promotion, business networking, and exchange of experience. We are confident that the implementation of joint initiatives will strengthen our position in the global tourism market and contribute to the cultural rapprochement of our peoples,” emphasized the Head of the Kazakh delegation, Chairman of the Tourism Industry Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurtas Karipbayev.

As a result of the event, a final protocol was signed reflecting the agreements reached and identifying priority areas for further cooperation in the field of tourism among the OTS countries.
