As part of the state policy to expand transit potential, the MoF of Kazakhstan is carrying out a large-scale modernization of 9 border points on the borders with China, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

🔹 Since the beginning of 2025, 4 modernized points have already been launched:

- “Kalzhat” and “Alakol” (PRC)

- “Kaplanbek” and “Atameken” (Uzbekistan)

🔹 By the end of the year will be completed:

“Kazygurt”, “Tazhen”, “Temir Baba”, ‘Maikapchagai’, “Bakhty”.

The renewed checkpoints meet international standards and are equipped with high-tech equipment. The control passes according to the principle of “one window”, without unnecessary stops, in 30 minutes.

🚛 Key digital solutions implemented:

- Electronic queue CarGoRuqsat

- Autohubs and transit and logistics center

- Digital platform “Keden” (13 out of 20 modules are already functioning)

📊 Results:

- Throughput capacity increased from 640,000 to 1.4 million TCs

- Reduction of border crossing time by 3 times

MoF RK continues to work on digitalization, automation and development of border services.

➡️ This is an important step towards convenience, transparency and development of foreign economic relations.
