On June 30, 2025, a regular meeting of the Mendykarinsky district Public Council was held.

The reports of the police department of the Mendykarinsky district of the Police Department of the Kostanay region on the issue of ensuring legality and respect for the rights and freedoms of citizens of the Mendykarinsky district, as well as the chief physician of the district hospital "On the availability and quality of medical services in the Mendykarinsky district" were heard.

The members of the Public Council noted that, in general, thanks to preventive measures, crime in the region has decreased in all categories of criminal offenses over the past year. In order to prevent and prevent offenses, operational and preventive measures are carried out: "Law and order", "Teenager", "Precinct", "Poduchetnik", "Life", "Poacher", "Children in the night city" and others.

It is of great concern that the overwhelming majority of the overall crime structure is fraud and theft of other people's property. Despite the ongoing fraud prevention efforts, residents of our area still fall into fraudulent schemes. Cattle thefts are still going on, one of the reasons is that animals are being left unattended.

Over the past year, 14 fatal traffic accidents were registered in the district. Despite stricter measures against drivers driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, such facts exist.

In general, the members of the Public Council positively assessed the work of the police department.

The chief physician of the district hospital, A. M. Burkitbayeva, provided detailed information about the state of affairs in the district hospital, prospects and problems. 100 medical workers provide medical care to the population of the district, including 24 doctors and 76 secondary medical workers. As of January 1, 2025, the need for medical workers amounted to 4 doctors. A general practitioner, a surgeon and a functional diagnostic doctor are due to arrive at the hospital this year. A unified medical information system has been introduced in the medical institutions of the district. Here you can get remote consultations, make an appointment with a doctor, call a doctor at home, search for a medical organization, specialists, services, medicines, etc.

This year, it is planned to open two beds for the rehabilitation of patients after serious illnesses who need care and rehabilitation.

The members of the Public Council made a number of comments on the work of the medical institution, the work of the Ministry of Health, the provision of medicines, and the relationship between doctors and patients.

Recommendations were adopted on the issues considered.
