Abu Dhabi, July 18, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UAE, Rauan Zhumabek, held a meeting with Omar Habtour Al-Darei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments of the UAE.

The Ambassador highlighted the positive dynamics of the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, noting that the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments has always supported Kazakhstan’s initiatives in promoting interfaith dialogue.

In turn, Mr. Al-Darei emphasized the importance of preserving peace and strengthening cooperation among people in the era of globalization and the interweaving of cultures and religions. According to him, this aligns with the principle of peaceful coexistence.

Both sides also placed significant attention on promoting values such as tolerance and respect for others.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments expressed his full support for Kazakhstan’s efforts in developing interfaith dialogue and confirmed his participation in the 8th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
