In order to promote the tourist potential of Shymkent, special information corners have been opened in Ust-Kamenogorsk and Borovoye. This event aims to introduce the tourism opportunities of Shymkent to residents and guests of Borovoye and Ust-Kamenogorsk.

At the information corners, visitors can get detailed information about Shymkent's historical and cultural sites, entertainment centers, hotels, restaurants, and tourist services. In addition, information about Shymkent's gastronomic features and traditional festivals is provided, and special maps, booklets, and other information materials are distributed free of charge.
Information corners play an important role in introducing Shymkent's tourism potential to residents and visitors.

Information corners are also currently open and operating in Almaty, Turkestan, and Samarkand. There are plans to open them in other cities in the future.
It is worth noting that in the first 9 months of 2024, 387,547 tourists visited Shymkent. Of these, 24,462 were foreigners. The number of tourists visiting the city has been increasing in recent years.
