Head of the Department for Control of Particularly Dangerous Infections and Tuberculosis of the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Region Abay Sh.B. Sadykova arrived in Kurchatov on a working visit.
A meeting devoted to the prevention of tuberculosis among the population was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Akim of Kurchatov Zhumagulov E.S. with the participation of the head of the Kurchatov City Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Amantayev A.A. in her speech.
In her speech, Sholpan Baltabekovna emphasized the importance of regular screening examinations, including fluorography. She noted that the examinations are planned, free and available to everyone. However, as practice has shown, many city residents refuse this procedure, which puts their health at risk. Meanwhile, cases of tuberculosis have been recorded in Kurchatov.
“The state creates all the conditions for each person to be healthy. After all, we live in a society whose health depends on each of us,” she emphasized. Those present discussed ways to increase awareness among city residents and developed measures to strengthen preventive work.
