The geographical indication "Kamenskuralsky saumal" was registered with the support of Akim of Mendykarinsky district Gabit Bekbayev.
On July 20, 2025, Gulnara Kaken, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Intellectual Property Rights of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented a certificate of registration of the geographical indication "Kamenskuralsky Saumal" at the BaiQymyz gastrofestival in Astana.
Mare's milk, processed by freeze-drying, practically does not lose its nutritional and medicinal value, structure, color and ability to recover quickly. When sealed in an inert gas environment, saumal retains its unsurpassed quality for a long time.
