In line with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev 's directives on tourism development, the State Revenue Department of East Kazakhstan region, along with its territorial offices, is currently conducting outreach. This involves distributing informational memos and booklets on taxation and the application of tax legislation at various tourism sites, including the coasts of Bukhtarma reservoir, lakes Sibi and Dubagaly, the upper and lower Taintas lakes, lake Zaysan, Kotlovany beach on the Irtysh River, and other popular tourist destinations
