The traditional district sports competition "Aq Biday" was recently held in the town of Mamlyutka, North Kazakhstan Region, bringing together more than 400 athletes from across the district.

Among the participants were probationers registered with the probation service. Five individuals currently under supervision took part as members of teams representing various rural districts of Mamlyutka. They competed in sports such as weightlifting, arm wrestling, kettlebell lifting, freestyle wrestling, checkers, and chess.

The participants demonstrated a high level of physical fitness and a strong enthusiasm for sportsmanship. One of the most memorable moments of the event was the opening ceremony, where the honor of lighting the Olympic torch was given to a probationer who is a candidate for Master of Sports in Greco-Roman wrestling and a prizewinner in regional and national tournaments.

As a result of the competition, the team from the Novomikhaylovka rural district, which included probationers, won first place in the overall team ranking. They will now go on to represent Mamlyutka District at the regional-level competition.
