30.07.2025 18:10:43 1012

According to the Paragraph 2 of Article 35 of the Entrepreneurial Code, individuals meeting one of the following conditions are subject to mandatory state registration as an individual entrepreneur:

1) They permanently use the labor of hired workers;

2) They have an annual income from private entrepreneurship that, when calculated according to Kazakhstan's tax laws, exceeds 12 times the minimum wage. This minimum wage is established by the law on the republican budget and is effective as of January 1 of the relevant financial year (in 2025, this amount is 1,020,000 tenge)

To register online as an Individual Entrepreneur, you'll need to complete an interview with the "initial" civil service. You can do this through the "Electronic Government" (Egov) portal or the "Electronic Business" mobile application.

Alternatively, you can use the E-license portal or various banking institutions, including Kaspi, BCC, Halyk Bank, JusanBank, BankRBK, and FreedomBank.

To register, you will need an EDS (electronic digital signature).

Important! When you're registering, you'll need to specify the details and parameters of your future individual entrepreneurship (IP). This includes your address, name, type of activity (OKED), and one of the tax regimes.
