Ulaanbaatar, August 1, 2025 – A meeting took place between the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mongolia Almas Seitakynov and the Minister of Education of Mongolia Naranbayar Purevsuren.

During the meeting, Ambassador Almas briefed the Minister on the ongoing educational reforms in Kazakhstan, the presence of leading international universities in the country, as well as the measures being taken to provide scholarships for foreign students. Special attention was given to the prospects for strengthening Kazakh-Mongolian cooperation in the field of education.

Minister Naranbayar expressed appreciation to the Government of Kazakhstan for the annual provision of educational scholarships to Mongolian citizens, noting their significant contribution to the development of human capital and the deepening of bilateral ties. The Mongolian side also reaffirmed its interest in further expanding cooperation in this important area.

At the conclusion of the talks, both sides agreed to maintain an active dialogue, deepen the partnership, and jointly organize educational events such as forums, exhibitions, seminars, and other initiatives aimed at reinforcing bilateral cooperation in the field of education.
