Athletes from Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, Romania, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia, South Korea, the USA and Ukraine participated in the tournament, which was held in Pardubice.

Representatives of our region became prize-winners in two major togyzkumalak competitions: Karygul Yernur from Karaganda won the silver medal in the World Cup among adults in blitz, and Tulegenov Adilkhan from Bukhar-Zhyrau district took the bronze medal in the World Youth Championship (under 21). Congratulations!

By the way, the World Championship in this very popular national game among athletes with musculoskeletal and visual impairments starts in Mongolia today. The national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan included coach Berkut Bekmagambetovich Beisenaev and his student Umitkaliev Dastan from Karkaralinsk. Good luck to our fellow countrymen!
