SHYMKENT: WORK ON DIGITALIZATION OF LABOR CONDITIONS IS UNDERWAY

The State Labor Inspectorate Department has published the situation regarding labor relations and the implementation of investment projects in Shymkent for the reporting period of 2025. According to the data, work on digitizing labor contracts is ongoing.

Of the 14,160 active enterprises in Shymkent, 11,622 (82%) have registered their employees' contracts in the Unified System for Accounting for Labor Contracts. Of the 199,990 employees in these enterprises, 173,620, or 87%, are reflected in the system.

The Department announced that it will intensify work in this direction, aiming to fully achieve the target indicators in the future.
According to the Shymkent City Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development, 105 investment projects worth 4 trillion tenge have been prepared within the framework of the National Pool. These projects are intended to create 17,253 new jobs.

To date, the Labor Inspectorate has been monitoring 37 investment projects launched, and in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry, state labor inspectors have been appointed as individual responsible.

Large-scale plans have been approved for the digitalization of labor relations and job creation in Shymkent. According to this plan, systematic monitoring through the introduction of digital systems to protect workers' rights, concrete work with enterprises, and an open information policy will remain the main tools in this area.
