In order to establish cooperation and increase the volume of work for persons serving sentences, the Department of the Penal Enforcement System for the West Kazakhstan region organized a working meeting with representatives of the Ural Transformer Plant "Alageum" and an entrepreneur operating on the basis of the UIS No. 28 facility for the production of transformer parts.

During the event, the parties discussed topical issues of further cooperation, as well as prospects for increasing production capacity. Special attention was paid to the creation of additional jobs for the convicts, which would ensure their employment, develop professional skills and prepare them for successful social adaptation after release.

The involvement of business representatives in the organization of production in institutions of the penal system is an important area of work aimed at reducing the rate of recidivism and the return of law-abiding citizens to society.
