On August 8, 2025, Deputy Head of the Representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Rashid Yerishev participated and delivered a welcoming speech at the solemn event dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbaiuly and the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.

The event was organized by the Public Institution «Qogamdyk Kelisim» of the Committee for the Development of Interethnic Relations of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the House of Friendship.

In his speech, R. Yerishev emphasized the commitment of the MFA of Kazakhstan to preserving the memory and promoting the legacy of Abai within the international community.

The event was attended by national, regional, and city ethnocultural associations and public structures of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, as well as international and non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, and the media.
