Residents of Kyzylorda now have access to eco-friendly transportation options.
- The "Eco Taxi" initiative is a sustainable environmental program. These ecotaxis run on electricity, with a single charge allowing for approximately 500 kilometers of travel. At present, there are 52 ecotaxis operating in the city, and this number is expected to grow to 100 soon. The introduction of this taxi service is welcomed by the community, as it offers an environmentally sustainable, economical, and comfortable mode of transport that minimizes ecological harm. This development is anticipated to positively influence the city's environmental health, as highlighted by Abdukadir Mashtayev, the director of the Kyzylorda bus depot.
Local authorities also took steps to enhance the resources and technology of public utilities, which are responsible for landscaping and cleaning the areas. A total of 52 units of special equipment were transferred to "Kyzylorda tazalygy," "Kyzylorda su zhyesi," and "Zhasyl Kyzylorda". Additionally, 48 vehicles necessary for maintaining cleanliness in populated areas were provided to the winners of the regional competition "Model Settlement". Earlier, 42 units of special equipment were given to the enterprises "Kyzylorda tazalygy", Kyzylorda distribution electricity grid company and "Kyzylorda su zhyesi." It is important to note that since the start of the environmental initiative "Taza Kazakhstan", over 548,299 residents of the region have participated. More than 21,360 tons of garbage were removed, and 505 squares and parks, the areas around 225 historical and cultural monuments, 791 social facilities, 1,130 industrial and business sites, 294 water bodies, and 47,451 courtyards and streets were cleaned.
Approximately 548 units of special equipment were used, and more than 129,358 tree seedlings were planted.
