New production facilities have been launched at a penal institution in Kyzylorda.

The Department of the Penal Enforcement System (PES) of the Kyzylorda Region is actively assisting inmates in finding employment and reintegrating into society. Currently, 70% of the region's prisoners are employed. To achieve full employment, new production sites have been opened.

Employees of the PES and the Kyzylorda Regional Prosecutor’s Office assisted an individual entrepreneur in obtaining a repayable loan through the Baikonyr Joint Stock Company. The funds were used to purchase modern equipment for the production of paving tiles. As a result of this project, 15 inmates received permanent jobs.

The company "Smartblock" has started producing polystyrene blocks, while "BAI-M TREND GROUP" has launched two workshops for the production of sand blocks. A total of 16 inmates are now employed at these enterprises.

Currently, 15 individual entrepreneurs operate within Institution No. 60. They provide jobs for inmates and help them prepare for employment after their release.
