Riyadh, August 18, 2025 – The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Madiyar Menilbekov, received representatives of the Kingdom’s media at the Embassy.

The meeting was attended by the Editor-in-Chief of the electronic publication Sahm News, Ahmed Ozaier, and the head of Al-Yaum News newspaper, Mohammed Al-Jumah.

The parties discussed the importance of broadly covering in the media information about the bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia. The Ambassador emphasized the relevance of disseminating information about Kazakhstan’s investment opportunities, cultural and humanitarian initiatives, as well as its tourism potential. In addition, he informed about the planned organization of a press tour in September aimed at covering in the Kingdom the VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held in Astana.

The media representatives expressed their interest in providing high-quality and balanced information about Kazakhstan and confirmed their readiness to further strengthen joint initiatives and information cooperation.
