The fact of distribution, storage, offer for sale and sale of automobile parts illegally marked under the trademark "Toyota" and "Lexus", such as air, oil and cabin filters and other parts, has been stopped.
Based on the appeal of the company Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha (also trading as Toyota Motor Corporation), the Department of Justice of the North Kazakhstan region conducted an unscheduled inspection of an individual entrepreneur from the city of Petropavlovsk, on the fact of illegal use of the trademark. As a result of the inspection, a batch of counterfeit products in the amount of 34 units with a total value of 270,000 tenge was found.
On August 18, the court issued a ruling on administrative liability, a fine of 30 MCI was imposed. The ruling came into force.
