AN ECOLOGICAL CAMPAIGN WAS HELD IN SHYMKENT AS PART OF "TAZA KAZAKHSTAN"

A large-scale environmental campaign was held in Shymkent within the framework of the republican program “Taza Kazakhstan”, initiated by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The event covered all five districts of the city. Participants cleared streets, courtyards and public spaces of garbage and household waste. In the Al-Farabi district, in the Teriskei microdistrict, the courtyards of residential buildings No. 33, 35 and 37 were tidied up. Children's playgrounds and green areas were cleaned through the joint efforts of residents and public services.
"The cleanliness of every yard, street and park is a legacy that we will leave to future generations. Today's cleanup is an important step towards the formation of an environmental culture. Therefore, it is very important that all residents participate in such initiatives," the participants of the action shared their opinions.
In the Abay district, Asfendiyarov Street in the Akzhayik microdistrict was cleared of garbage, and in the Yenbekshinsky district, the area around school No. 30 was tidied up. In the Karatau district, Kenzharyk and Kulager streets in the Nurtas microdistrict were cleared. Residents of the Turansky district improved the courtyards of multi-story buildings along the Temirlan highway.
The city's youth also actively joined the event, organized by the city's Youth Resource Center.
The event was aimed at improving the environmental situation and landscaping the city territory. City residents demonstrated a high level of social responsibility and active participation in initiatives to maintain cleanliness and order. Participants of the action noted that such events not only improve the environmental situation, but also contribute to strengthening unity and harmony in society.
