Today, people encounter fraudulent activities almost every day. According to experts, the number of cyberattacks aimed at government agencies and the financial sector is growing every year. Attackers use the capabilities of artificial intelligence to automate attacks and expand their scale. This is why a comprehensive and systematic approach to cybersecurity issues has become an urgent need.
These and other pressing issues were discussed today at the Digital Security and Literacy forum, which was held at the Shymkent Hub center. The event was attended by IT specialists, startup representatives, and young people. During the forum, participants were told about modern methods of protection against cyber threats and the importance of creating a culture of personal data protection.
— Today, every citizen uses bank cards, makes purchases online, enters personal data into various applications. Failure to comply with basic security rules in such conditions can lead to serious losses. Now there are more and more cases when people upload their personal data or organization documents to chatbots like ChatGPT in search of solutions. This is very dangerous. At the forum, young specialists proposed ways to counter new threats in the era of artificial intelligence and called on citizens to strengthen measures to ensure cybersecurity.
