On August 20 of this year, the head of the State Revenue Department for Almaty, K.E. Baedilov, visited the passenger and cargo terminals of Almaty International Airport, where the Zhetysu customs post is located, as part of a planned control event in the form of an inspection visit.

During the visit, he got acquainted with the organization of the post, the technical equipment and working conditions of the staff. During the conversation with the staff, special attention was paid to the issues of digitalization of work processes, optimization of customs administration and creation of favorable conditions for participants in foreign economic activity.

Following the meeting, K.E. Baedilov instructed the management of the post to take urgent measures to speed up the processing of accepted goods, reduce customs clearance time, establish interaction with the business community, and strictly observe official discipline. He stressed the need to eliminate corruption and timely respond to detected violations of customs legislation when moving cargo and baggage.
