In Shymkent, ANC members supported 532 schoolchildren as part of the “Road to School” campaign

Today, in the Shymkent House of Friendship, the city Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan (APK) launched the “Road to School” campaign as part of the “Zhomart Jan” (“Generous Soul”) project.
With the direct participation of a member of the city Assembly of People's Commissars and the Council of Elders, businessman Aaripjan Khalnazarov, as part of the campaign, 100 schoolchildren from socially vulnerable and large families were given school supplies (school bags, notebooks, pencil cases, colored pens, etc.) worth 1.5 million tenge.
The charity event was attended by the deputy chairman of the city APK Takhirbek Nishanbayev, member of the Council of Elders under the city APK Aripjan Khalnazarov and the head of the institution "Kogamdyk Kelisim" Nurken Alimkulov. They personally presented the students with the necessary school supplies.
The Council of Mothers under the city APK took on the responsibility of providing 32 first-graders with the necessary school supplies. In addition, activists of city ethnocultural associations held charity events in 13 locations in Shymkent, where they distributed items worth 6 million tenge to children from low-income, socially vulnerable and large families.
It should be noted that with the support of members of the city ANC, within the framework of the “Road to School” campaign, 532 schoolchildren in Shymkent received assistance in the total amount of 7.9 million tenge.
