In the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic — the city of Bishkek — a creative evening “Alqissa” was held to mark the 100th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh composer, kuishi, and conductor Nurgisa Tlendiyev. The event was organized as part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Kyrgyzstan.

The gala concert took place at the Abdylas Maldybayev Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. The cultural program was organized by the Akimat of Almaty Region. Leading creative ensembles and performers of the region presented their art to the residents and guests of Bishkek.
