Addis Ababa, August 22, 2025 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Zhalgas Adilbayev, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Seychelles to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union, Conrad Mederick.

​During the discussion, the diplomats explored avenues for expanding cooperation in various fields. They paid special attention to developing tourism, establishing business contacts, and exchanging experiences in sustainable development and environmental protection. The ambassadors noted their mutual interest in collaborating on the international stage, particularly within the UN and other multilateral structures.

​One of the key topics of the meeting was the possibility of signing an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation. The parties discussed the necessary steps to prepare and conclude such a document, which could become a strong legal foundation for the further development of the partnership between the two countries.

​The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue working contacts and exchange information to explore specific initiatives. Both sides expressed confidence that this dialogue will serve as an impetus for the further development of mutually beneficial relations.
