On the eve of the 30th anniversary of Constitution Day, a ceremonial event was held in Aktau, organized at the Public Service Center.

Special attention on this day was given to teenagers who had recently turned 16. For them, the ceremony became a truly significant occasion – young citizens received their first identity cards.

Receiving this key document symbolizes the beginning of adult life, opens up new opportunities, and emphasizes one's responsibility to society and the state. The presentation of ID cards in honor of Constitution Day holds special meaning, as the country’s Fundamental Law guarantees every citizen their rights, freedoms, and equal opportunities.

Such events are regularly held at Public Service Centers across the region and have already become a good tradition that fosters patriotism and civic identity among youth.

It is worth noting that upon reaching the age of 16, citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan are required to obtain an identity card. To do so, the teenager must visit the nearest Public Service Center together with one parent, presenting the birth certificate and the parent's ID.

As a reminder, this year marks the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
