On August 27 of this year, the Chairwoman of the Altay District Maslikhat, L.A. Grechushnikova, spoke as a speaker at the session “Facets of Participation: from Council to Result” within the framework of the Regional Civil Forum “Voice of the Region: Public Councils as a Driver of Change,” which took place in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. The main goal of the session was to showcase successful practices of Public Councils in East Kazakhstan Region, their real impact on solving regional issues, and the potential for scaling effective approaches.

She shared the experience of the Altay District Public Council, which brings together 15 representatives from various sectors: public service, entrepreneurship, industry, education, and healthcare.

The Public Council is not just a platform for discussion but a tool for real change. The most important thing is that every issue raised during the meetings leads to concrete results for the residents of the district.

Such forums become platforms for sharing experiences and finding solutions that help move forward.
