SHYMKENT: CLEANING WORKS ARE UNDERWAY IN DISTRICT AREAS

On August 27, 2025, a number of systematic works were carried out to ensure sanitary cleanliness and landscaping in the Abay, Karatau, and Turan districts of Shymkent. These works are aimed at beautifying the city and creating favorable living conditions for residents.
A total of more than 100 people and 21 units of special equipment were involved in these events. Cleaning works were carried out along the streets and ditches of Asar, Shymsiti, Kaynarbulak, Bozaryk, microdistricts and Baidibek Bi Avenue, A2 bypass, Turkestan, Temirlan highway, Bakbayev, Al-Farabi, Utegenov, Tolemetov, Argynbekov, Zhidelibaysyn, Zhana Talap, Gagarin, Boleshev, Syrym Batyr, Baiterekov, Erimbetov, Almaty. As a result, 4,450 meters of irrigation systems were cleaned. A total of 149 tons of garbage were removed.
To ensure cleanliness in the areas, additional workers have been recruited to increase the efficiency of garbage collection, and mobile teams continue cleaning work even during the night shift. This is one of the comprehensive measures aimed at ensuring cleanliness around the clock.
In addition, 78 specialists participated in the greening of the Turan microdistrict and the New Terminal, Square-1, and Asar Hospital areas, mowing and trimming of grass. These are important measures that contribute to the preservation, expansion, and improvement of the city's green resources.
As part of the cleaning work, 90 bus stops located on Sypyrgan Ata, Argynbekova, Seikhun, Zhantore Ata, Almaty streets and Baidibek Bi Avenue, as well as the monuments to A. Baitursynov, G. Muratbayev, D. Konayev, and B. Momyshuly, were washed and cleaned. These works were carried out in order to create a comfortable and hygienically safe environment for residents and public transport users.
These works will continue in the future. The main goal is to create a comfortable, safe, clean and green living environment for city residents.
