On August 28, 2025, Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Zhanibek Abdrashov, participated in an event on the occasion of completion of the diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan of the Consul General of Republic of Türkiye in Almaty, Evren Müderrisoglu. The Consul General was also awarded a certificate of honour on behalf of the Representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, in recognition of his significant contribution to the development of political, economic, and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Türkiye.
