On September 3, 2025 Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Zhanibek Abdrashov, held a meeting with the newly appointed United Nations Resident Coordinator in Kazakhstan, Sarangoo Radnaaragchaa. During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of further work of the UN Regional Center on Sustainable Development Goals for Central Asia and Afghanistan in Almaty, as well as the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and various entities of the UN system.
