On September 3, 2025, Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Zhanibek Abdrashov, participated and delivered a welcoming speech at the solemn concert dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Chinese folk composer Xian Xinghai and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Second World War.

The concert was organized by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Almaty.

In his speech, the Ambassador noted that the friendship of the Chinese composer with Kazakh composer Bakhytzhan Baikadamov is a symbol of cultural and spiritual unity between the two peoples.

Special attention was paid to the significance of the creative heritage of the two composers of Kazakhstan and China as a solid foundation for the further development of cultural ties between our countries.
