The XI session of the Karabalyk district maslikhat was held today, which was attended by Akim of the district Halykov R.B., deputies of the district maslikhat, heads of territorial and local executive bodies, representatives of law enforcement agencies, members of the Public Council of the district.

In accordance with the work plan of the district maslikhat, two issues were considered at the session.:

The report of the akim of the district on the fulfillment of the functions and tasks assigned to him;
About the development of sports in the Karabalyk region.

Akim of the district Halykov R.B. made a report on the first issue of the agenda, presenting to the deputies and those present at the session a detailed picture of the state of all spheres of life in the district, the results of the work carried out over the past period of this year and the prospects for development.

The deputies noted that all the activities of the akim of the district and the akimat headed by him are aimed at developing the social sphere and economic relations, improving the quality of life of the population, and strengthening stability in socio-political life. The report was unanimously approved by the decision of the session.

The head of the State Institution "Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Karabalyk district" (hereinafter referred to as the Sports Department), L.Y. Khrapova, was informed about the development of sports in the Karabalyk district.

There are 43 physical culture collectives in the district, covering 10,628 people, which is 44.7% of the total population of the district. The number of sports facilities in the district is 88 units.

        In 2025, 396 mass sports events were held, attended by 8,041 people. Every year, the sports department holds district championships in football, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, kazaksha kures, judo, presidential all-around, athletics and other sports, more than 50 types in total, 14 of which are Olympic.  

The report of the head of the sports department was taken into account, and recommendations were given.
