The event, organized as part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign, was aimed at increasing the environmental culture of young people.
An educational eco-excursion for young volunteers was organized in Shymkent as part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" environmental campaign. The event was jointly organized by the Shymkent Youth Resource Center, the ASAA volunteer organization, and the UNICEF volunteer movement.
During the excursion, the participants got acquainted with the work of a local waste recycling enterprise - the "ECO Tire" plant. The young people saw the process of recycling used tires and received information about the production of rubber crumb and ways to reuse it.
The plant's specialists explained in detail the environmental damage caused by rubber waste, the benefits of its recycling, and new technologies being used in this area. According to experts, recycling used tires helps reduce air and soil pollution, and also plays an important role in saving natural resources.
The excursion also focused on raising the environmental culture of young people and encouraging them to be responsible for the environment. According to the organizers, such events encourage young people to actively participate in environmental initiatives and contribute to the formation of their "green consciousness".
– Today's event was a unique experience for young people. Through concrete examples from the field of waste disposal, we were able to show that everyone's contribution is important in solving environmental problems. The activity of young volunteers is gratifying, – says one of the organizers of the event.
It is worth noting that this initiative is being implemented as part of the nationwide campaign "Clean Kazakhstan", aimed at improving the environmental situation in the country. The main goal of this campaign is to increase the environmental responsibility of the population and implement specific measures to protect the environment.
Such meaningful and practical events will continue in the future. The organizers are committed to continuously increasing the participation of young people in environmental projects.
