September 4, 2025 – The prospects for expanding REKA’s operations in Kazakhstan and deepening cooperation in sustainable agriculture were discussed during the meeting with Kazakh diplomats in The Hague.

During the conversation between Ambassador Kairat Abdrakhmanov and REKA’s CEO Aron Oosthoek and Managing Director Eric Egberts, the parties expressed satisfaction with the launch of the company’s first joint production facility in the West Kazakhstan region, emphasizing the importance of plans to further expand its presence in both the national and regional markets.

Of particular interest to the local business community are the measures of state support for foreign investors in Kazakhstan, as well as opportunities for engagement with development institutions, local authorities, and the administrations of special economic zones. Proposals were also made regarding improvements to the functioning of SEZs and the creation of favourable conditions within their territories.

The sides exchanged views on the implementation of sustainable agricultural practices, the application of “carbon farming” methods, and the use of modern financial instruments to support new production initiatives, including in other regions of Kazakhstan. REKA’s constructive cooperation with Kazakh partners and the opening of production lines in the country serve as evidence of the growing interest of Dutch businesses in the local market and represent a significant contribution to strengthening bilateral economic ties.
