Today, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Berik Asylov, took part in the 30th Conference and General Assembly of the International Association of Prosecutors in Singapore.
The conference, serving as a unique platform for exchanging experience and strengthening cooperation between the prosecutor generals of foreign states, brought together the heads of supreme supervisory bodies from more than 70 countries.

During the events, a constructive exchange of views took place on combating cybercrime, the use of digital evidence, asset recovery, as well as cooperation for an effective response to new types and threats of crime.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan, B. Asylov, and the Minister for Justice of Singapore, E. Tong, signed the Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Singapore on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters.

According to the head of the Kazakh supervisory authority, the conclusion of such an agreement has particular importance for Kazakhstan, given Singapore’s status as a leading global financial center and a key hub of global trade and investment flows.
