On September 8, 2025, Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Zhanibek Abdrashov, held a meeting with the Consul General of Hungary in Almaty, Szabolcs Szőke, and the Business Development Manager of the Hungarian digital technology company “4iG S&DT” (Space & Defense Technologies), Árisz Kecskés.

The parties discussed prospects for expanding mutually beneficial investment cooperation in digital technology and innovation fields.

Special attention was paid to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and satellite technologies issues.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed readiness for further cooperation and the promotion of initiatives in the field of telecommunications.
