In general, this year, 33,145 hectares of agricultural crops have been placed in the district. Of these, 19,950 hectares were sown with rice. In order to save and effectively use water, 13 farms carried out work on leveling 16,000 hectares of land using 31 pieces of modern laser ground leveling equipment. At the same time, sunflower crops were planted on 150 hectares by sprinkler irrigation. In total, more than 900 pieces of equipment are involved in the autumn harvesting campaign. In order to ensure food security, over the past two years, special attention has been paid to sowing melons. This year, 1,640 families planted potatoes, vegetables and melons on 800 hectares of land in the district. One of the largest farms for the cultivation of cheese rice – the farm "Bakhyt" - is always at the forefront. This year, the farm harvested 460 hectares of rice and 368 hectares of alfalfa. Farmers of the village of kalzhan Akhun also picked their seeds from the ground and reached the golden autumn with bright labor.
