The President's next address states:
"Minimizing the dependence of the country's food market on imports is a strategic task of the Government. Of course, we cannot provide ourselves with one hundred percent, and perhaps there is no need for it. But it is embarrassing to talk about the current situation on the market. In addition, we need to actively promote our traditional national products to foreign markets.
Therefore, it is necessary to develop a specific plan for agricultural exports, which should take into account logistics, veterinary and phytosanitary standards, and a rational marketing strategy.
"This is a common task not only of the Ministry of Agriculture, but also of a number of state bodies. Therefore, it is necessary to coordinate actions at the level of government leadership."
I think it is very appropriate for the President to talk about the ability to consistently provide the population with sufficient, high-quality, affordable food.
In fact, the current dependence on imports is disappointing. Even though we are an agricultural country, sometimes importing simple products is a shame.
But domestic production of key strategic food products is a guarantee of security. This is especially important given the global instability of recent years.
At the same time, it is a great opportunity to widely introduce our national products to foreign markets.
In fact, natural, environmentally friendly Kazakh products can be in great demand in the world market. For example: koumiss and shubat are not just drinks, but also healthy bioproducts. Today, interest in koumiss is growing in Europe and Korea. Meat products - Kazakh horse meat, mutton - are natural, have a unique taste. If processed according to halal standards, they are in great demand in the Middle East. Milk and cheese products - organic dairy products are highly valued in the world. Kazakh gherkins, cheese, butter can become a brand. Honey and honey products - Kazakh honey is currently being purchased by countries such as Germany and Japan. This demand can be expanded.
Therefore, exporting our national products is not only an economic benefit, but also a way to introduce Kazakh culture and traditions to the world.
