From September 1 to October 10, 2025, as part of the spring conscription for military service, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan will conduct a selection and examination of candidates in all regional centers and cities of republican significance.
Candidates must meet the following requirements: be between 18 and 27 years old, not less than 180 cm tall, have graduated from high school, college or university, and be in good health. Preference will be given to candidates with higher education, sports achievements, and ranks.
Conscripts who have joined the RK Armed Forces serve in military units 0112 and 0111 in the cities of Astana and Almaty.
Within the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, conscripts perform special duties, such as protecting the security of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other protected persons, participating in ceremonial and protocol events, and guarding the standards of the National Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During their term of service in the military units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, young soldiers learn military skills under the guidance of experienced instructors and master military specialties in combat and special training classes.
The conscripts of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces have the opportunity to further grow in terms of personnel. After the end of the conscript service, they can continue their military service under a contract at their own discretion, and then become employees and officers of a special state body, performing tasks to ensure the security of protected persons and objects.
All benefits established for social support for citizens who have completed military service in the Republic of Kazakhstan apply to conscripts of the RK Armed Forces.
