On September 11, 2025, Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Zhanibek Abdrashov, participated in the conference “The Legacy of the Wise Poet Abai and the Spiritual Continuity of the Turkic World”, dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the great thinker and poet of the Kazakh people, Abai Kunanbayuly.

The event was organized by the Turkic Academy and the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of the conference, the Turkic Academy’s publications about Abai in Latin, Azerbaijani, and Turkish languages were presented.

The participants of the event included representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Almaty, state and public figures, as well as prominent scholars.
