Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Coordination in Civil Aviation

Riyadh, September 17, 2026 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Madiyar Menilbekov held a meeting with the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation Abdulaziz Al-Duailej.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the practical implementation of the Air Services Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, signed on August 26, 2026.
Particular attention was paid to expanding direct air connectivity between the two countries, launching new routes, as well as increasing the volume of passenger and cargo air transportation.
The parties emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination between the aviation authorities and air carriers of the two countries to ensure the effective implementation of the agreements reached.
Following the meeting, it was agreed to continue working-level contacts on further expanding air connectivity between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.
