In his Address to the People of Kazakhstan today, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined a number of specific tasks for the country's socio-economic development, digital transformation, and the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies. According to the President, Kazakhstan must become a full-fledged mass digital country within the next three years. Otherwise, there is a great risk of falling behind in global competition.
"It is necessary to urgently introduce digitalization and artificial intelligence tools into all sectors of the economy," the President gave a specific task, stating that the country intends to form a National Digital Development Strategy. As Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly said, "only a country that can adapt to the currents will prosper." Turning to artificial intelligence is a path aimed not only at meeting global requirements, but also at improving the country's future.
The President emphasized that young people have a high ability to adapt to the radical changes taking place in the world today. Undoubtedly, the digital literacy and mastery of technology among young people is the main guarantee of the future development of Kazakhstan.
The Head of State did not forget about the importance of culture and art in the era of artificial intelligence. “Cultural figures must adapt to the demands of the new era,” said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, noting that support is provided to artists, and the issue of infrastructure is also not left out of consideration. Citing the wise words of Hakim Abai, “A person’s humanity comes from reason, science, a good father, a good mother, a good friend, and a good teacher,” the President noted that the basis for the development of the country is the conscious, active, and educated citizens of modern Kazakhstan.
In his Address, the President spoke extensively about Kazakhstan's multi-vector and constructive foreign policy. According to him, today many states are interested in establishing friendly relations with Kazakhstan and strengthening effective cooperation. "In the era of digitalization and artificial intelligence, a foreign policy that meets the national strategic interests of our state is the main factor contributing to our socio-economic stability," the Head of State said.
