ENBEKSHY DISTRICT AKIMAT'S OFFICE: INFORMATION ON GENERAL CITY SATURDAY WORKS ON "WORLD CLEANING DAY"

The Enbekshi district akim's office, various institutions, departments, public organizations, enterprises, and residents of the district actively participated in the city-wide cleanup dedicated to "World Cleanup Day" organized in Shymkent on September 20, 2025. The main goal of this event was to clean the city area from garbage, form an ecological culture among residents, and set an example of caring for the environment for the younger generation.
The Enbekshy district akim's office mobilized 500 employees and put 30 pieces of equipment into operation for the Saturday cleanup. As a result , 17 tons of garbage were removed from the district. This is a clear demonstration of the district akimat's responsibility to protect nature and its great contribution to the cleanliness of the city.
The largest part of the Sabbath was attended by ordinary residents. In particular, 3,706 residents of the district took part in the Sabbath and actively participated in cleaning the neighborhoods of their homes, streets, parks and pedestrian paths. Such enthusiasm of the people proves that they are not indifferent to the unity of the country and the common cause.
The Ontustik Industrial Zone (IA) mobilized 2,000 employees and 4 pieces of equipment , removing 5 tons of waste .
On behalf of the "Zhuldyz" IA , 200 employees and 2 pieces of equipment participated, and 1 ton of garbage was cleaned.
The SEZ special economic zone mobilized 300 employees and 2 vehicles , removing 2 tons of waste .
These indicators show that industrial zones across the region also feel a sense of environmental responsibility.
Department of Environmental Development – 26 employees , 2 pieces of equipment , 2 tons of garbage ;
Construction Department – 30 employees , 2 pieces of equipment , 3 tons of garbage ;
Shymkent SEC JSC – 20 employees , 1 piece of equipment , 2 tons of waste ;
Internal Policy Department – 30 employees , 1 piece of equipment , 2 tons of garbage .
The participation of each department contributed to the large-scale celebration of Shabbat, which contributed to the beautification and improvement of the sanitary conditions of the city.
"Vodokanal-1" LLP - 30 employees , 2 pieces of equipment , 1 ton of waste ;
"QazaqGaz Aimaq" CHP - 60 employees , 1 piece of equipment , 2 tons of waste ;
Enbekshi Electricity Distribution Department – 30 employees , 2 vehicles , 2 tons of waste .
They carried out sanitation work in their respective areas, ensuring that the infrastructure was safe and clean.
Enbekshi District Police Department - 200 employees , 3 pieces of equipment , removed 4 tons of garbage .
Social facilities (schools, kindergartens, hospitals, etc.) - 4,360 employees , 10 pieces of equipment were mobilized, and 12 tons of garbage were cleaned.
At the same time, the participation of the younger generation and professionals from various fields in society in a common cause increased the educational value of Shabbat.
Petro Kazakhstan company - 300 employees , 4 pieces of equipment , 3 tons of waste were removed.
The support from businesses has shown that environmental initiatives are important not only from government agencies but also from the private sector.
In general, in the territory of Enbekshi district, Shabbat is celebrated:
11,792 employees participated,
66 pieces of equipment were put into operation,
A total of 58 tons of garbage were removed .
This was one of the largest environmental events in the history of the district.
During the Sabbath, not only garbage collection is carried out, but also:
Pruning dead trees and branches;
Mowing the lawn;
Welding and painting works;
Cleaning of streets and courtyard areas;
Repairing pedestrian paths and ditches;
Comprehensive measures were taken, such as the repair of small architectural objects in public places.
This weekend, held as part of the "World Cleanup Day," was an important event not only for the residents of Enbekshy district, but also for the entire city of Shymkent. It not only increased the environmental culture of citizens, but also mobilized them for a common cause, making each resident feel responsible for protecting nature and the environment.
Such events will undoubtedly continue to be organized in the future, contributing to the environmental education of the younger generation, the activity of residents, and the cleanliness and comfort of the city.
