On September 20, 2025, a special environmental event took place in Shymkent. On this day, at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, a citywide cleanup day was organized as part of the Clean Kazakhstan national project. The Shymkent city branch of the AMANAT party organized the event. Branch employees, activists from the youth wing of Zhastar Ruhy, utility workers, and a special guest, popular pop singer Serikbol Sailaubek , participated in the event.

A distinctive feature of the event was the involvement of a wide range of social groups. Along with party officials, members of the youth wing of "Zhastar Rukhy" actively participated. The city's public utilities also made a significant contribution. Specialized waste removal vehicles and grounds cleaning equipment were brought in. Thanks to this, the cleanup was organized and effective.

The participation of renowned artist Serikbol Sailaubek attracted particular attention. Despite his popularity, he and the other participants took up the work, picking up trash and helping to clean up the mess. His simplicity and willingness to work alongside the city residents earned him respect. In his address, the singer emphasized that caring for the environment is everyone's responsibility, and it is especially important to involve young people in such initiatives.

City residents also got involved. Many, seeing their courtyards being cleaned, volunteered to help. People helped take out trash, collected dry branches, and swept sidewalks. Residents say such events not only make the city cleaner but also bring neighbors closer together and foster friendships.

Participants noted that cleanup days should be held regularly. Cleanliness and order should be the norm, not the exception. This is how we can develop a habit of caring for nature.
