Kazakhstan and Greece Discuss Prospects for Bilateral Cooperation

Athens, 29 July 2026 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Greece Timur Sultangozhin held a meeting with Andreas Fryganas, Director General for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece.
The sides discussed the current state and prospects of Kazakh-Greek relations, with particular emphasis on further strengthening political dialogue and expanding practical cooperation between the two countries.
The discussions covered the organization of reciprocal visits at the highest and high levels, the convening of the next session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Technological Cooperation, the further development of the bilateral legal framework, as well as the expansion of trade, economic and investment cooperation.
During an exchange of views on current international issues, the sides also addressed the security of international shipping and the stability of transport and energy links.
Following the meeting, the sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in maintaining constructive dialogue and consistently strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan and Greece.
