On September 17, 2025, as part of its media plan, the State Revenue Department for the Talas District, with the participation of employees of the State Revenue Department for the Zhambyl Region, held a seminar for taxpayers at the Karatau District School of Arts in the Talas District on key changes to the new Tax Code, which will come into effect in 2026.

Participants—heads of organizations, sole proprietors, individuals, farm managers, and accountants—were able to learn about the upcoming changes to tax legislation and ask questions. A total of 108 people attended the seminar.

The seminar covered the following topics: shortening tax reporting forms, changing special tax regimes, VAT reform, universal tax filing, digitalization of tax administration, and other issues.

Through open dialogue, taxpayers received practical recommendations on how to prepare for the changes and discussed current issues.

The next seminar is scheduled for October 8, 2025 in Taraz.
