A seminar-meeting on topical issues in the field of public procurement and changes in legislation was held today at the K. Rustembekov House of Zhyrauls.

The seminar was opened by Deputy Akim of the district Shyngys Sydykov, noting the importance of the event. The main purpose of the meeting is to inform the participants about the latest changes and current issues of the public procurement system, as well as to conduct practical explanatory work.

The invited experts were Galymzhan Maratovich, Deputy Head of the Public Procurement Department of the Kyzylorda region, Sadir Yerzhanovich, Head of the Department of Internal State Audit for the Kyzylorda region, and Muratbek Amangeldyuly, Chief Specialist of the Public Procurement Department.

Two main issues were considered during the seminar. The first concerned changes made to the current legislation on public procurement and current problems in this area, the second — frequent violations of legislation in the field of public procurement.

The speakers conducted explanatory work and gave specific answers to the questions of the participants, and a platform for the exchange of opinions was also organized.

This event is aimed at ensuring transparency in the field of public procurement and improving the legal literacy of local specialists.
