Representatives of the Republican Public Association “Hearts of Mothers”, led by Farida Baubekova, visited military unit 6636 of the National Guard, stationed in Astana, to familiarize themselves with the service and living conditions of the guardsmen.

Among the honored guests were mothers of conscripts from Petropavlovsk, currently serving in this very unit. Their arrival became a complete surprise for the young soldiers.

The guests were introduced to the history of the military unit, toured the barracks, and inspected the quality of the soldiers’ uniforms and meals. Particular attention was paid to the unit’s video surveillance systems, which were highly praised by the visiting mothers.

The highlight of the visit was a touching reunion of mothers with their sons. The unexpected meeting sparked overwhelming emotions and joy among both the soldiers and their families. Following the reunion, representatives of the committee held a heartfelt gathering with the personnel, during which guardsmen recited poems dedicated to mothers, sang songs, and performed dances.

“After seeing the unit, the sergeants, and the officers with my own eyes, I felt reassured about my son. I am convinced that while the commanders demand discipline, they also treat the soldiers humanely. I also noticed positive changes in my son’s character and behavior — this is the result of military service,” shared Mahabbat Baktibaeva, a soldier’s mother.

Such visits to the law enforcement troops are held regularly. Their purpose is to strengthen the bond between parents and conscripts, while also providing families with the opportunity to assess the conditions of service and training of the servicemen.

“This time we came together with several mothers of soldiers. This is not only my initiative but also an effort carried out with the support of the Akimat of North Kazakhstan Region. Military unit 6636 is among the best. I would like to express my gratitude to the Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard and to all commanders on behalf of the parents,” said Farida Baubekova.

It should be noted that similar meetings will be held in other military units of the regional commands at the instruction of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, Major General Ansagan Baltabekov, in cooperation with the Soldiers’ Mothers Committee. Systematic efforts to strengthen cooperation with the committee will continue.
